Vincent J. Russo and Victoria Roberts Drogin are proud to announce the premiere of the Twelfth Season of their three-time Telly Award-winning show, Family Comes First. Family Comes First is dedicated to highlighting the challenges that families face in their daily lives and provide them, and you, with hope and suggested resources to help you through these difficult obstacles. Each season, we showcase inspirational and informative shows featuring real families, facing real issues with grace, hope, and determination!
Vincent and Victoria take an Up Close a Personal look at Fr. Tony Stanganelli, pastor at St. Brigid Church in Westbury and spiritual advisor to “Family Comes First” for the last six years. In this feel-good episode, Father Tony and the hosts begin by exploring what makes them happy. Father Tony reveals everything from his favorite food, music, movie, and episode of the show to the person he’d most like to meet. Father Tony also discusses his decision to become a priest, his ministry, his pilgrimage to the holy land, the importance of perseverance, St. Brigid Church, and much more.
In this episode, Vincent flips the script and takes an Up Close and Personal look at his co-host Victoria. Victoria talks about the valuable lessons she learned from her parents, her professional transitions from practicing attorney to coaching to education, and how she defines success. Two of Victoria’s four children, Dana and Allison, share their thoughts about their mother. Then, attorney and entrepreneur Fred Klein stops by to give us some insight into what makes Victoria so unique. Finally, we get the inside scoop about Victoria’s “secrets” from her husband Paul Napolitano.
Vincent and Victoria take an Up Close and Personal look at Salvatore Albanese. Sal came to the United States from Calabria, Italy at age 12 and grew up to realize the American Dream as a successful businessman and family man. Sal describes the sacrifices his parents made, the challenges he faced growing up, the role soccer has played throughout his life, his commitment to family, and the importance of giving back to the community. Vincent and Victoria also speak with Yanira Chacon, Assistant Coordinator at Casa Mary Johanna in St. Brigid Parish, Westbury, New York, about the range of services and resources available to help immigrants.
